The Scandinavian Extravaganza (Duration: 9:00)

When: July 2003

Exactly one year after the long drive from Helsinki to Monaco, it was time to hit the road once again. This time, we took a helicopter ride from Helsinki to Tallinn in Estonia, where we stay for three days.

After a brief return to Helsinki, we took an overnight ferry to Stockholm in Sweden, where the weather was superb: the nights were warm and the city was in the right mood for us to party.

We headed north to Sundsval, then west passing Åre to get to Trondheim in the middle of Norway. We spent six days in Norway, meandering along the oil-rich nation’s majestic fjords. We visited cities such as Molde, Ålesund, Gieranger and Oslo.

From Oslo, we took an overnight ferry to Copenhagen in Denmark, where we had just one night to cram in as much as possible, including visits to some of the Royal Palaces, the Tivoli amusement park and scending the spire of All Saints Church.

As a destination: I love Scandinavia, despite the fact that it's one of the most expensive blocks of countries in the world! The people are smart, educated and well-dressed and their cities are clean and deserving of the world-class reputation they have been adorned with!
